I'm entering a period of discovery and upheaval, who I am seems to be melting and changing everyday.  One constant in my life is nature, the great all encompassing word for everything that is outside of human creation.  I love exploring new facets of the world around me, be it through science, experience or meditation. 

I'm a nerd and I love to learn.  I love trees, I love mountains, I love life.  I don't have great social skills, I don't know who I am yet.   I like to read, but lately it seems like before I get through even a page, I'm off on some mental exploration of wild tangents.  

On the outside I'm more mind than anything else, a product of standard education.   I'm finding out that I have workaholic tendencies, but I rarely work toward anything I love.  Bummer.  It seems to be a widespread condition.   I love writing, drawing, painting, laughing, creating, but most of all, experiencing.  I live for the feeling I get when the wind blows through me, my feet root into the earth, and the skies are thrown wide open.   It seems like I'm diving inward in my life, and I'm thankful for wonderful friends who accept that. 

I'm looking forward to exploring life and myself.  The beautiful part about being seventeen is that I'm allowed, even expected, to be horribly awkward.  I'm unfinished.
